My kid is a great soccer player! What options do I have?Play Up You can request to have your player play up a year (they will play on a team with older players). If you choose to do this, please email Ken at keng@oremyouthsoccer.com. Please keep in mind that players can only play up one year. For example, a five-year-old (U6) can play with the (U7-U8), but a four-year-old (U5) cannot play with the U7-U8 players. UVU Juniors Orem Youth Soccer has created a new young coed program to challenge and develop those players who are already excelling. U7-U8 players have the opportunity to try out for this program. Practices will be more intense and coaches are held to a higher standard than recreation. Playing at the District and State levels will also help your child improve their abilities as they play at higher levels.
